Kids love cuddles, attention and fun filled activities. But
it all depends upon the parents how they decide to raise their children.
Today we are going to see the ideal parent child relationship
right from the time a baby is born. Infant and the toddler stages are the ones
that create a substantial bonding necessity as kids are dependent on adults
even for their basic needs. Be a full time parent or a parent after work, true
bonding is the key to delight on both the sides of relationship.
First of all, do not baby your child. I am not against
cuddles or funny faces. I mean even adults need hugs, a shoulder to cry, a
comforting speech and above all a dash of humor. Most of the time kids do not
know the difference between work and play. And I mean that starting at the age
of “one or two”. Parents can ask their child to help in knocking off household
chores. It may be a simple task like “clean up” which may include just putting
away things on side or in the appropriate boxes. You may also involve them in doing
the laundry or hanging out the dried clothes. As a step further you can also
involve them in baking cakes and cookies. After every task give them a big hug
of appreciation. This would not only make them feel elated but also create that
most wanted bonding.
Apart from tackling household chores and shoveling of snow
one can involve their little ones in their social activities. It may be giving
out stuffs to others. And I bet kids would love to execute orders in front of
others. So if you are planning to give away some canned food or clothes to
others, you can ask your little shamrocks to hand over the bags. As we all know
action speaks louder than words, your generous activities will root into your
child’s mind before you even verbally communicate about it.
Finally, kids always love to hear that they are a big boy or
girl now. You can manipulate the idea by asking them to be independent. Right
from eating on their own to handling their daily routine a parent can actually
make their children more and more autonomous.
Happy kids and happy parents both together can make a real difference
to the society. And a fun filled child
upbringing would also give a positive picture to many others.
